Owner Bio
Rich "Ramzavail" Vardaro took over management of the famed Davenport Falcons while original owner Morgado wasn't looking. "I just moved into his office," Vardaro said in a Stuff exclusive. "Next thing you know I was running the whole frickin' team." After moving the team to holy ground in his native Queens, he ordered the installation of an artificial playing surface to the park's restrooms because he thought they "really tied the place together."
"Ramz", as he is known around the ballpark, was once employed riding a unicycle in a traveling Cirque du Soleil show, but quit when it became obvious his boss didn't know the significance of April 13, 1967. "I decided long ago I wasn't working for anyone who didn't know when Tom Terrific debuted," he said. "So I said, Fuck it, Dude...let's go bowling. And I was outta there. It's for the best...I mean, I was really outta my element, you know?"
