Owner Bio
Renowned vulgarian and punk/ska mogul Wayne "CJP" Wright has been an idol of disaffected rich white kids for what seems like decades. Originally the lead singer for Berwyn, PA thrash-trio "Kneetothegroin", CJP and his crew cranked out legendary tunes like "Skullfucking in Suburbia," and the prozac-fueled anthem "I Just Ate Your Cat."
Discovered by 70's hitmakers Seals and Croft, who aspired to hop on the early-80's punk bandwagon, CJP was placed in the first industry-created punk ska band, the short-lived but critically acclaimed "Prisonbitch." After a brief appearance on Casey Kasem's infamous Top-40 radio program (with their poppy feel-good "Punchin' with a Truncheon at the Luncheon), Prisonbitch was booed off the stage during their 1987 mid-west shopping mall tour.
Broke and drug-addled, CJP bought a Casio-keyboard and started producing his own ditties, first selling them to advertising agencies and local television stations. One thing led to another and CJP was soon scoring hit movies like Beverly Hills Cop 3 and the special edition Laserdisc for Gymkata and American Anthem. With a brand new source of income flowing in, CJP got back to his roots: discovering and producing such legendary punk/ska acts as "I Killed Rick James" and "Nipple."
Flush with cash and new-found respect, CJP decided to "give back to the little people." Unhappy with the play of the local MLB Phillies franchise, Wright purchased a starter franchise in the fledgling FOBL. Philadelphia baseball hasn't been the same since.
Regular beatings and expletive-laden tauntings can be found in the owner's box at The Riz, as well as impromptu horn solos. As the owner said during a recent internview, "Life is ***** great. Pass the ***** sausage and pudding, you *****."
