Ryan Stevenson (aka Ryan S, aka the sexy Scottsman) joined the FOBL in 2007 after one of the lenghtier vulture tenures, replacing the legendary Fritz as GM of the Norfolk Zippys. Having decided that there are just too many darn teams in Virginia of all places, Ryan took his team across the icy waters of the Atlantic Ocean and plopped them in the UK, where no fans of opposing teams could afford to visit. "I want a real home field advantage," the mild-mannered and oh-so-sexy Ryan said.
Having amassed a fortune in the lucrative Shepard's Pie industry, Ryan and other minority owners splurged on building the beautiful Scotland Yard and it's distinction as the only ballpark in the majors with grass covering the entire playing field. "No dirt. The pitchers mound, the outfield warning track and the entire infield is grass, grass and more grass. Dirt is well, dirty. Grass is just, you know, grassy."
Despite the fine surroundings, the Stunt Monkeys have yet to make the playoffs in the always hotly contested Wilderness division. "I'll get there someday," Ryan says. "I'll have to murder Daimy and frame Subby for it, but I can wait. I'm patient."
