Owner Bio

Physically and mentally drained from years of chasing ambulances and, later, peddling corporate bankruptcies, Al Hill, esq. retired to Atlantic City at the ripe old age of 28.
He briefly flirted with life as a shoeshine boy on the Boardwalk, but his love of baseball called him instead to Las Vegas where he accepted an unpaid internship with the FOBL's Las Vegas Lightning. Back on the East Coast during one fortuitous off-season, his life was changed by a chance meeting with then-Snake Eyes owner Marmel in at a Trump Casino craps table. Two shakes of the dice later, and Hill found himself with his own ballclub to nurture.
And nurture he did. Eschewing the "drugs and hookers" approach made famous by his mentor, NoMyths, Hill ran his team like he ran his law firm: with cool, calculated efficiency, and driven by the bottom line. In doing so, he took the once-floundering franchise and guided them back to the playoffs in only six seasons, where they have been a mainstay ever since.
