Friday, October 11th, 2030: JL Presents Top Pitcher Trophy
The spotlight today is on Tony García of the Marlton Mall Rats.
He was named the top pitcher in the JJ League and will be honored with the 2030 Outstanding Pitcher Award.

In 166.1 innings of work and 25 starts, the Mall Rats star struck out 250 while giving up 100 hits and 63 walks. He limited opposing batters to a .169 average.

This weekend the talented hurler will be given his trophy by the SION Baseball Writers Association at its annual awards dinner.

Monday, August 12th, 2030: JL's Star Player Named
The JJ League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Manny Padilla, left fielder of the Marlton Mall Rats.

In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .480 pace to win the award. Padilla went 12-25 for the week, totaled 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 6 times.

Thus far this year Padilla is hitting .305 with 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and 8 runs scored.

Thursday, August 1st, 2030: García Cruises to Shutout
It was a razor-sharp performance by Tony García of the Marlton Mall Rats against the Columbus Road Hogs. He fashioned a fine 1-hitter in blanking them 8-0 and chalked up 13 strikeouts and 1 walk.

So far this season García has 12 wins and 2 losses and a 1.71 ERA.
