Johnny Robertson of the Waxahachie Supercolliders was right on target when he blanked the Miami Vice 6-0, yielded 4 hits and totaled no walks and 5 strikeouts.
Speaking to BNN reporters after the game, Robertson said, "I had everything working today and I got some help from my defense, too. They saved my butt a few times."

Mario Olivares was in command in his outing against the Miami Vice. He hurled the Carman Junior Goldeyes to a 13-0 shutout victory, yielded 2 hits and chalked up 8 strikeouts and no walks.
"A complete game shutout. That's fun territory for me," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I had good balance and mechanics and was able to keep the ball down. When I do that, good things happen."
This season Olivares has worked 100 innings with 123 strikeouts en route to a 8-2 record and a 3.42 ERA.
