| Breaking News |  | Tuesday, August 21st, 2035: Terre Haute Hopeless Against Wallace On the hill P.J. Wallace stood out and was the master of the moment as he blanked Terre Haute 12-0.
At bat the Gravel Dogs floundered, fizzled and failed to score.
"His fastball moves and he mixes in the slider," the Terre Haute manager said. "He kept us off-balance."
The Warrensburg pitcher hurled a 3-hit shutout in an exceptional effort. He gave up 3 walks and had 10 strikeouts.
"I felt good," Wallace said. "That's probably the best fastball I've had all season. I was able to locate it pretty well. They were super-aggressive, which helped me."

Well, good pitching also beats bad batting.
In his postgame interview the Ithaca manager said, "Reynaldo Villanueva made us look real bad today. He was outstanding. He was down in the zone with all his pitches. Everything was sinking."
Villanueva had 5 strikeouts, 1 walk and allowed only 5 hits as the Tri-Cities Reactors whitewashed the Ithaca Originals 4-0.
