| Breaking News |  | Tuesday, October 14th, 2031: Outstanding Pitcher Award Goes to Evansville Hurler The Evansville clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Hiro Kiyomizu will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2031 Ohl League Outstanding Pitcher Award.
Kiyomizu made 35 starts this year, winning 17 and losing 9. He threw 247.1 innings, fanned 135, allowed 190 hits and 50 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .210 average as he logged an impressive 2.40 ERA. |  | Saturday, August 30th, 2031: Reyes Spins Shutout The Evansville River Cats had no answer today for HellOnEarths pitcher Xavier Reyes. They failed to score a single run against him, losing 1-0. Evansville managed only 4 hits off Reyes and suffered 2 strikeouts.

The River Cats have lost the services of catcher Clarence Bradford for the rest of the season due to a fractured skull. Bradford was injured in a recent game with the Sonoma Vintners while colliding with a player at a base and is expected to miss 10-11 months.
