No matter what Andersonville pitchers threw him today Scott Hill hit it. The 21-year-old Stevens Point right fielder racked up 5 hits in 6 at-bats today against them at Troondonts Ballpark and spearheaded the Troondonts to a 6-5 victory.
S. Hill singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 12th.
Hill currently has a .317 batting average with 79 hits, 3 homers, 23 RBIs, 30 runs scored and a .373 OBP.

 | Saturday, August 4th, 2035: Young Shuts out Prisoners
A pitcher's main job is to keep the opposition off the scoreboard and Floyd pitcher Clint Young did just that today in a 7-0 victory over the Andersonville Prisoners at Ballpark of Biloxi. He gave up no runs in his start, permitted 5 hits and had 9 strikeouts.
So far this season Young has a 8-4 record with a 3.04 ERA.

 | Sunday, June 10th, 2035: Combs Gives Andersonville Goose Eggs
Artie Combs of the Floyd Barbers worked his mound magic on the Andersonville Prisoners. He blanked them 10-0 on 3 hits, registering 11 strikeouts and no walks.
"Making good pitches is the name of the game and I made some good ones in this one," said Combs after the game.
In 8 starts this season Combs has compiled a 5-1 record and a 1.46 ERA.
