Thursday, August 29th, 2030: Gravediggers Pitching Ravaged by Phillips
At Ballpark of Summerville Nate Phillips was the King of Swing today in the 13-3 win over the Gravediggers.

The Summerville second baseman stepped into the batter's box 6 times against the Tombstone and delivered 6 hits.

It was a sensational game for him. He excitedly told the press, "Unbelieveable feeling. Unbelieveable. It felt good. It felt great. What a day! 6 for 6! It does wonders for your batting average, too."

N. Phillips singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.

Tuesday, August 6th, 2030: Floyd Blanked by Summerville
Johnathan Harris of the Summerville HellOnEarths was one tough customer on the hill today. He blanked the Floyd Barbers 12-0 on 6 hits, registering 2 strikeouts and 1 walk.

"When he's on, he's tough to hit," said the Floyd manager after the game. "He's just a bulldog out there."

So far this season Harris has compiled a 6-8 record with a 4.66 ERA.

Saturday, July 13th, 2030: 5-7 Game for Phillips
History in the making. That's what the fans at Ballpark of Summerville got to see today in the Toronto 4-2 triumph over the HellOnEarths. Nate Phillips of the Summerville came to the plate 7 times and came away with a dynamite day as he exploded for 5 hits against the Maple Leafs. "It was a great day for me, but a disappointing one for our fans," he said to the reporters covering the game. "I wish I could have won it for them. They like stats, but they love winning."

In the postgame press conference the Toronto skipper quipped to reporters, "Hey, we tried to get him out. We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the kitchen sink. I am just glad we escaped with a win. Phillips was lethal."

N. Phillips doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, doubled in the 12th and singled in the 13th.
