Monday, August 19th, 2030: SL - A Player of the Week Chosen
Pitchers who faced the Anchorage Icebergs last week were happy to see Jesús Cervantes in the rear view mirror. The 21-year-old right fielder was dubbed the Stafford League Player of the Week for a 5-game tear that saw him hit at a .364 clip.

For the week He also chalked up 8 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 2 runs scored.

Thus far in 2030 Cervantes has hit .246 with 11 home runs, 54 RBIs and scored 50 runs.

Thursday, July 4th, 2030: Wisconsin Reliever Ill
After feeling sick for a few days, Lawrence Dockery finally visited his doctor and the diagnosis was the flu. This problem could keep him out of Wisconsin's lineup for 2 weeks.

This year Dockery has pitched 30.2 innings over 27 relief appearances, picking up no saves and held opponents to a .252 average. Dockery has a 2-2 record with a 3.82 ERA and 36 strikeouts.

Brandon Pack hated to see June turn to July.
And who could blame him?
The 19-year-old hurler piled up 5 wins and 1 loss for the Icebergs last month and won the Stafford League Pitcher of the Month award for his efforts.
