Sunday, September 15th, 2030: Red-Hot Sauceda Scorches EZ Riders
Alberto Sauceda had an answer for everything the Green Bay EZ Riders threw him today in the Honolulu 18-2 triumph at Shark Cove. He made good contact 6 times and 6 times he drilled the ball for a base hit.

That's what Bill Cortina told reporters after he made baseball history today at Destruction Yard. The prolific slugger belted home run #300 in the Kentucky Juggernaut 8-2 victory over the Green Bay EZ Riders.

The standout third baseman collected 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 3 runs batted in and 1 run scored.

"I guess this puts me in baseball's elite," said Cortina. "I don't feel any different. I probably should, but I don't. Still, it is a nice achievement. I did get a little excited, didn't I?"

Well, Felix Rodriguez did something even better -- the 36-year-old Green Bay EZ Riders star has now won 200 games in his career. That put him in a very select group of pitchers in the .

He joined that exclusive club today at The Yard by whipping the Los Alamos Nukes 1-0, holding them to 5 hits in 7 innings while chalking up 3 strikeouts and 1 walk.

In the postgame interview, the modest Rodriguez said, "It's special to win 200 games. You don't do it by yourself. You do it with good stuff and a good bullpen. You are only as good as the guys behind you. Years from now I might look back on it and give myself a little pat on the back."

So far in Rodriguez's career, the 36-year-old starter has won 200 and lost 116, collecting 2024 strikeouts with a 2.89 ERA. Opponents have hit .690 against him.
