It was a parade of hits for Simon Farr of the Hollywood Media Whores... one right after another... a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Wisconsin Snowbirds for 5 hits in his 5 at-bats. But the Snowbirds rose to the occasion and rained on his parade with a 6-5 win.
"Farr was really good... we were just a little better," said the Snowbirds manager in the postgame interview. "It's all right with me if he gets 5 hits every game against us, if we win."
S. Farr singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off E. Bustamante in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
So far this season Farr has 45 home runs and a .357 batting average.

Doug Walker went on a week-long batting spree against Little Gindin pitchers and hauled in the Player of the Week trophy.
The Opal City right fielder battered the opposition for 15 hits in 26 at-bats, no home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 5 runs. He hit .577 and posted a .593 on-base percentage.
Currently Walker has 4 home runs and a .373 batting average.

Wisconsin Snowbirds first baseman James Mueller rose above the controversy surrounding his soon-to-expire contract, thriving under pressure last week and copping the Player of the Week award in the Gindin League.
Mueller put up a .435 batting average (10-23) with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 7 times.
In his 2035 season totals, Mueller has 14 home runs, .234 BA, .363 OBP, 37 RBIs and 37 runs scored.
