| Breaking News |  | Sunday, September 18th, 2033: Norwich Snaps Gibson's Streak at 21
Brian Gibson's 21-game hitting streak was snapped today at Casting Couch Coliseum. The 27-year-old Media Whores third baseman failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats in the game with the Norwich Mustardmen, but Hollywood came out the winner, topping them 5-3.
One of his teammates told BNN, "The streak was no big deal to Brian. He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames. That's the bottom line."
This season Gibson is batting .319 with 191 hits and 45 home runs. He has scored 125 times and has 116 runs batted in.

| Friday, September 16th, 2033: Gibson Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games
Brian Gibson of the Hollywood Media Whores has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 1 hit in today's 1-0 triumph over Norwich at Casting Couch Coliseum.
B. Gibson singled in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
In 2033 Gibson is batting .322 with 44 home runs and 114 RBIs.

Mark Pritchard was in charge the whole game in the Media Whores victory over the Mustardmen today. In a superb performance he blanked Norwich 1-0, yielding 5 hits while registering 1 strikeout and 1 walk.
