| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, September 12th, 2035: Durham's Pedroza Reaches 2000 Hits The day belonged to Antonio Pedroza of the Durham Dragons as he became the latest player to reach the 2000-hit plateau. He did it in Durham's 6-1 win over Santa Cruz.
"It's a moment I'll never forget," said Pedroza after the game, "2000 hits is a lot. It puts you in a very select group. I never expected to be around long enough to reach a milestone like this."
He finished the day with 2 hits in 3 at-bats.
Pedroza has a lifetime .298 batting average and .389 on-base percentage in his 1753-game career with 2000 hits and 440 home runs. |  | Friday, June 22nd, 2035: Sea Lions MR Out Santa Cruz fans held their breath as Artie Bullard left yesterday's Dragons-Sea Lions contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 24-year-old reliever had suffered a hyperextended labrum muscle while throwing a pitch. It's estimated that he will be out 2 months.
For the year, Bullard has collected 1 save in 31 relief appearances. He has also rung up 37 strikeouts and 32 walks in 49.2 innings while registering a 2.90 ERA and a 3-2 won-lost mark. |  | Friday, May 4th, 2035: Cadena Brilliant, Blanks Sea Lions Magic was in the air and on the mound at Electromagnetic Field today as Ricky Cadena held Santa Cruz spellbound in his 2-0 shutout victory. The Las Vegas pitcher went the route, ran up 2 strikeouts, walked 0 and held the Sea Lions to 6 hits to garner the win.
