This season Utah first baseman Fred Ball won the Gindin League batting crown. His .367 average led everyone in 2035. Ball's season stats included 224 hits, 48 home runs, 133 runs scored and 150 RBIs.

An efficient outing for Celes Dovando usually means a win for Utah. Today was no exception, as the 32-year-old starter held Portland to a long line of goose eggs. He struck out 8 and gave up 3 hits in the 7-0 shutout.
So far in 2035 Dovando has compiled a 16-12 record with a 4.25 ERA.

 | Thursday, September 6th, 2035: Adams Smacks 5 Hits for Fighting Prawns
It was a great day at the plate for Tom Adams of the Portland Fighting Prawns. He collected 5 hits in 5 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Utah Raptors racked up the victory, topping the Fighting Prawns by the score of 20-7.
T. Adams hit a two-run double in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
In the 2035 season Adams has hit .249 with 6 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 18 runs.
