Arturo Alcazar of the Philadelphia Billyclubs shut out the Bantam Originals 8-0, held them to 5 hits with no walks and 5 strikeouts. Alcazar said, "I could throw any pitch on any count."
The Bantam skipper called his game a jewel, saying, "The way he was pitching, it would have been tough for anyone to beat him."

This week's standout performer in the Vaughan League was second baseman Sakonshirou Kenzaburo of the Bantam Originals.
