Saturday, October 6th, 2035: Originals Lose Walker for Season
The doctors have spoken and Clarence Walker of the Bantam Originals didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Walker sustained his season-ending injury during the Poughkeepsie Paladins game yesterday at Tyson Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Bantam medical staff reported Walker had a dislocated elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 1-2 weeks.

Taking a look at his season stats for 2035, Walker has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 3-1 won-lost mark with a 1.52 ERA. In pitching 29.2 innings, he has totaled 30 strikeouts and 9 walks.
Tuesday, September 18th, 2035: Yes, It's a No-No by García
Tony García relied on excellent pitch selection and pinpoint control to hold Bantam hitless in his 4-0 win.

"I stayed ahead of batters," he said after the game, "and was able to get a lot of quick outs. My defense deserves a lot of credit too. They had to be on their toes and they saved me several times."

The 28-year-old starter rung up 10 strikeouts and 2 walks in whipping the Originals.

"When a guy is throwing strikes the way he was and is locating well, it is going to be a long day for any club," the Bantam skipper said.

Currently García has a 12-12 won-lost record in 29 starts with a 4.63 ERA. He also has 141 strikeouts in 180.2 innings.
Sunday, September 9th, 2035: Livingston Tosses Shutout for Bantam
Gary Livingston of the Bantam Originals was really in the zone as he mowed down the Utica hitters 4-0 in a sterling mound performance.

"I'm feeling good overall," he said.

"I'm executing my pitches, I'm able to hit my spots and I'm getting outs in key situations."

Livingston shut down the Utica Wombats, blanking them on 3 hits while registering 1 strikeout and no walks.

Livingston in 2035 has fashioned a 4-21 mark, 5.27 ERA and thrown 172.1 innings in 28 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .304 against him.
