Dwayne Tucker was sneaky fast, on the mark and hard to hit today. He blanked the Utah Homophobes 10-0 on 6 hits and had 4 walks and 12 strikeouts.
"You know what he's going to throw. You know what to expect. And you still can't hit it," the Utah skipper told reporters after the shutout loss to the Franklin Square Warriors.
"He just had a real deceiving fastball today and he was throwing it for strikes."
This season in 23 starts Dwayne Tucker has a record of 11-5 with 119 strikeouts in 147.1 innings and a 3.97 ERA.

 | Saturday, August 11th, 2035: McFarland Pitches Warriors to Shutout Win
Today at Porcupines Ballpark Jerry McFarland baffled Utah batters on 4 hits en route to a 9-0 shutout.
"He was able to keep hitters off balance and got the ball down," said the Warriors skipper about his starter's performance.
McFarland had 11 strikeouts and no walks in the game.
This season McFarland has a 9-6 record with a 4.35 ERA.

Robby Bolden was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Homophobes. He shut them out 4-0 on 2 hits with 3 strikeouts and 3 walks.
The Opal City manager said, "Robby was very aggressive tonight. He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence."
The losing manager had praise, too. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well. Bolden has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that offspeed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."
Bolden has started 19 times this year, pitched 109.2 innings, fanned 81 batters and walked 56. His current record is 9 wins and 6 losses with a 5.25 ERA.
