In a sharp 3-hit performance, Manuel Del Arroyo tossed the Orono Bear Brewers to a 3-0 shutout victory over the Greenbelt Gophers, fanning 4 and walking 1.
"That's as good a stuff as I've seen in a long time," the Greenbelt manager said in his postgame interview.
Del Arroyo in 2035 has fashioned a 9-19 mark, 4.82 ERA and thrown 203.1 innings in 32 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .268 against him.

All went well for Kasey Anderson of the Silicon Valley E-Holes as he pitched his team to a 1-0 shutout victory over the Nashville Flyers, limiting them to 4 hits while ringing up 4 strikeouts and surrendering 2 walks.
In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Anderson.
His manager described him this way: "He's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy. He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful."
The Nashville skipper said, "He doesn't give you anything twice. It's a guessing game with him and today my club was always guessing wrong."
