It was a dazzling performance by Dwight Seemann of the Orono Bear Brewers. He shut out the Columbus Crows 10-0 on a brilliant 1-hitter, ringing up 6 strikeouts and issuing 1 walk.
Seemann has a 11-10 season record so far. In 26 starts, he has fanned 136 batters in 180.2 innings with a 4.23 ERA.

 | Wednesday, September 18th, 2030: William Brumbaugh Suffers Injury
Orono fans held their breath as William Brumbaugh left yesterday's Juggernaut-Bear Brewers contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 23-year-old starting pitcher had suffered a tender elbow while throwing a pitch. It's estimated that he will be out 1-2 weeks.
In 2030 Brumbaugh has compiled a 11-6 mark with a 3.62 ERA in 26 starts.

 | Wednesday, September 18th, 2030: Orono Center Fielder Injured
"It was kinda freaky. Hopefully, I'll be back in the lineup soon," said a dejected Jose Sequeira after injuring himself in a game against Kentucky. The Orono manager told SION reporters, "He will miss up to 1-2 weeks with a pinched nerve." The Bear Brewers will have to decide over the next day or two whether the center fielder will go on the disabled list.
Currently Sequeira is batting .274 with 15 home runs and 70 RBIs.
