The premier performer in the Coppage League this week was Chad Morgan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The hot-hitting 22-year-old first baseman put up a .429 average and .452 on-base percentage, piling up 12 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
That kind of hitting got him the CL Player of the Week honors.
Morgan is presently hitting at a .298 pace with 17 home runs, 70 RBIs and has scored 71 times.

 | Tuesday, July 24th, 2035: AAs Chill Ramos's Hot Streak
Felipe Ramos's 20-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today in the Jockitch 7-1 setback to the AAs. Ramos went without a hit in 3 trips to the plate. Talking to BNN after the game he was visibly upset. But the streak had little to do with it.
"I'm disappointed we lost, I'm not one bit disappointed that the streak ended," Ramos said. "The hitting streak was just one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep tonight."
This season Ramos is batting at a .305 clip with 18 home runs and 65 RBIs.

| Monday, July 23rd, 2035: Hit Streak Now at 20 for Ramos
Felipe Ramos ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Jockitch Ballpark, when he collected 2 hits in 4 at-bats.
"Hey, the streak is great. I hope it never ends. But I'm not happy when we lose the game," was his comment after New Jersey was beaten 4-1 by the Warrensburg AAs.
"The scoreboard tells the whole story."
F. Ramos singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
This season Ramos is swinging the bat at a .307 rate with 115 hits in 374 at-bats. To date he has hit 18 home runs, scored 56 runs and driven in 65.
