Wednesday, April 30th, 2031: Bluefish Blank Charlotte, Slavens Winner
Wildwood pitcher Brian Slavens blanked the Charlotte Elite 7-0, tossing a 6-hitter while issuing 2 walks and collecting 2 strikeouts.

After his sharp shutout performance, he said that he gives a lot of the credit to his batterymate. "Me and him are just locked in out there. He's so great at having a feel for hitters. I couldn't do what I'm doing without him."

Tuesday, September 17th, 2030: Bluefish Triumph in 2030 Behm Cup
The Bluefish earned their 1st Behm Cup title and now get to spend all winter basking in glory, while the beaten Devhits will have many sleepless nights wondering what went wrong.

Wildwood is the Behm League Champions for 2030. They did it with a 4-3 triumph to capture the series 4-1.

"Both clubs are talented. We just made fewer mistakes than they did," the winning manager said to the press corps at the postgame press conference. "We made the crucial plays and got the timely hits."

The Janesville skipper agreed with that assessment and added, "We were a little weak on fundamentals at crucial times. I have a sneaky suspicion we will be working on fundamentals a lot next spring."

On the way to the Behm Cup championship, the Bluefish ended up in first place in the Behm League Atlantic Division and compiled a 77-53 record during the regular season.

Thursday, September 12th, 2030: Fletcher Blasts 3 into Bleachers
In the Wildwood 8-7 win over Janesville, Bob Fletcher was in a home run mode. He tortured the Devhits, cracking out three home runs and going 3-3 with 3 RBIs and scoring 3 runs.

"When you're hot, you're hot," said a grinning Fletcher at the SION postgame press conference.

"I got some good pitches to hit and got a good swing going today. I cannot believe it happened. I was like, 'I don't know what I'm doing.' It was one of the better days in my baseball career. I was on cloud nine out there and I was enjoying it."

B. Fletcher hit a solo-shot off C. Talamantez in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off C. Talamantez in the 4th and hit a solo-shot off C. Talamantez in the 7th.

This season Fletcher is batting .307 with 6 home runs. He has scored 28 runs and driven in 27.
