Tuesday, October 1st, 2030: Price Tops Best Hitter List
Vic Price, the outstanding Batavia center fielder, certainly made an impression on Behm League pitchers this past season. He pummeled them for 185 hits in 504 at-bats, 32 doubles, 2 triples, 28 home runs, 120 RBIs, and scored 105 times.

That standout hitting earned him the Behm League Outstanding Hitter Award for 2030.

This weekend Price will be honored by the SION Baseball Writers Association at its annual awards dinner.

Sunday, September 1st, 2030: Price Crowned Top BL - AAA Hitter in August
Vic Price picked up the top batter prize in the Behm League for August.

The Batavia center fielder hit .402 with 8 home runs, 33 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He also drew 4 walks to post an OBP of .429.

This year Price is hitting .365, produced 111 RBIs and 25 home runs, scored 100 times and gotten on base at a .407 rate.

Monday, August 26th, 2030: BL - AAA's Top Player Named
Paul Roberts must have thought he was in seventh heaven this week. First he went on a sensational hitting spree, belting the ball at a .533 pace, then the Batavia second baseman finds outs he has been selected the top performer and gets the Behm League Player of the Week Award.

Asked what his hitting philosophy was, Roberts quipped to the SION reporters, "Well, my theory of hitting is to just watch the ball as it comes in and hit it."

It was a good week's work for Roberts. He hit .533 average (16-30) with 1 home run and 7 RBIs.

Roberts is hitting at a .318 mark this season. His stats show 11 home runs, 49 RBIs and 97 runs scored. He has played 89 games for the Tevatrons.
