In an impressive outing Jed Livingston hurled nothing but zeros at the Fates today at Ballpark of Moose Jaw. The Moose Jaw pitcher allowed 3 hits, fanned 4 and walked 3 in blanking Las Vegas 4-0.
This season Livingston has 7 wins and 7 losses and a 2.50 ERA.

 | Friday, July 8th, 2033: Hunter Spins Shutout Against Knights
Devin Hunter of the Las Vegas Fates was right on target when he blanked the Burlington Knights 5-0, yielded 2 hits and totaled 1 walk and 5 strikeouts.
Speaking to BNN reporters after the game, Hunter said, "I had everything working today and I got some help from my defense, too. They saved my butt a few times."
Currently Hunter has a 7-3 won-lost record in 8 starts with a 3.32 ERA. He also has 66 strikeouts in 62.1 innings.

 | Monday, May 9th, 2033: Gill Selected Top Performer in RL
23-year-old Doug Gill made a few Las Vegas headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Read League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort.
He cracked 12 hits in 24 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Gill collected 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 7 runs.
Batting .355 to date, Gill has 6 home runs and 21 RBIs.
