| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, August 22nd, 2035: Frost Ferrets Jacob Carter Swings Hot Bat, SL Winner Jacob Carter of the Bloomington Frost Ferrets had an outstanding week and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Stafford League.
For the week the 28-year-old left fielder batted .586 (17-29) with no home runs and 11 RBIs.
This year Carter is batting .308 with 9 home runs and 82 RBIs. |  | Thursday, August 9th, 2035: Walker Bashes 5 Base Hits Pasadena catcher Brent Walker put on quite a show at Voodoo Ballpark with a big 5-hit day. But all for naught. The Voodoo were beaten 7-6 by the Batavia Tevatrons.
In the postgame interview he said, "The team didn't do too well today, but it was a good one for me, at least at the plate... 5-6... wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average... and my salary, too. But I could do without the losing."
B. Walker flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
