With stuff like that, it was easy for David Nehring of the Victory to handcuff the Green Team 7-0 and come away with a complete game 4-hit shutout. He recorded 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in an impressive performance.

| Tuesday, July 16th, 2030: Carter Torches Sea Otters for 5 Hits
Alan Carter of the Green Team was unstoppable in today's 8-5 victory over the Monterey Sea Otters at Field C Grounds. He battered them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Field C second baseman after the game. "All I had to do was swing, and I connected. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-5 won't hurt your batting average like 0-5 will."
A. Carter singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
In the 2030 season Carter has hit .335 with 4 home runs, 35 RBIs and scored 30 runs.
