The #1 pitcher this past month in the Pina League was Rodney Adrian of the Wilmington Fear. He worked the hitters over real good, finishing July with a superb 5-1 record and a 0.61 ERA.
The Fear star made 6 starts and surrendered 31 hits in 44 innings. He struck out 29 and walked 9.
This year Adrian has fanned 81 in 134 innings and collected a 9-8 record with a 2.49 ERA.

James Zamora, the talented Wilmington star, suffered a strained back muscle yesterday in the game with the Banana Rats, which could keep him out of today's lineup. "I'm a bit banged up," said the 24-year-old reliever, "but we won't know until game time if I can play or not." Zamora got hurt while throwing a pitch. The team doctor said he could be out up to 1-2 weeks.
Taking a look at this year, James Zamora has made 23 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 3-0 won-lost mark and a 2.24 ERA. In pitching 56.1 innings, he has totaled 23 strikeouts and 27 walks.

 | Saturday, July 13th, 2030: Fear Cramer Smacks 5 Hits!
Wilmington center fielder Daniel Cramer could do no wrong in today's 18-3 win over the Moose Brewers as he collected 5 hits.
"In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor...he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Moose Brewers said to the press corps after the game.
Cramer agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."
D. Cramer tripled in the 1st, hit a three-run triple in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and was hit by a pitch in the 8th.
Presently Cramer is batting .331 with 46 hits and no home runs. He has knocked in 18 runs and scored 32 times.
