Tuesday, September 17th, 2030: Horsham St. Faith Saints Are PL - AAA Champs
It was a glorious moment at Ballpark of Horsham St. Faith when Horsham St. Faith claimed the 2030 Pina Cup title with a 9-4 victory. Horsham St. Faith players were jubilant as they swamped each other on the diamond after completing the fantastic sweep of the Las Vegas Fates.

Chants of "Thank you, Saints," reverberated all around the ballpark when it was over.

But in the losing dugout, sadness reigned. Commenting to reporters, the Fates skipper related what it's like to lose, "Your heart is heavy...you are hurting...it's a very difficult time. And to be swept...it's embarrassing. You just want to forget it ever happened."

But it was a season to remember for the Horsham St. Faith Saints. Their season record was 83-47 and good enough for first place in the Pina League International Division. Then they topped it off by winning the Pina Cup 4-0. What a year!

Tuesday, August 27th, 2030: Big Day for Keir! Swats 5 Hits!
After the Horsham St. Faith 9-2 victory over Maui and his 5-hit day center fielder Don Keir told SION beat writers, "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college ball, two hits in a game is very good...three or four hits even better...5 or more are out of sight...and if it is in pro ball...it is really something special. It will get you in the record books."

The 21-year-old player gained that distinction today at Ballpark of Horsham St. Faith with a spectacular 5 for 6 game against the Maui Sting Rays.

The skipper of the Saints spoke glowingly of Keir, telling SION writers, "His swing is getting there. We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Don did that to perfection today."

D. Keir singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off R. Cortes in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.

This year Keir has hit at a .323 clip with 49 RBIs, 7 home runs and 76 runs scored.

Monday, August 26th, 2030: Elam Twirls Saints to Shutout Victory
It was a razor-sharp performance by Emanuel Elam of the Horsham St. Faith Saints against the Maui Sting Rays. He fashioned a fine 2-hitter in blanking them 7-0 and chalked up 8 strikeouts and 2 walks.

This season-to-date Elam has 3 wins and no losses and a 1.82 ERA.
