| Breaking News |  | Saturday, May 3rd, 2031: 5-Hit Blitz by Steward Who needs batting practice? Freddy Steward of Warrensburg apparently doesn't as he battered Columbus with a 5-hit outburst in today's game to lead his club to a 12-2 win.
He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 5 day... will my name be in the record books now?"
F. Steward doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
So far in 2031 Steward is batting .333 with 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored.
