What a year for Doug Kirkland! He finished the year with a .324 average and today was named the winner of the 2035 Ohl League Outstanding Hitter Award.
His season totals included a .408 on-base percentage, 148 hits, 31 doubles, 6 triples, 18 home runs, 92 RBIs and 68 runs scored.

Shawn Gibson had an impressive 2035 season against Coppage League pitchers and was acclaimed the league's Outstanding Hitter Award winner today.
The Washington Heights first baseman hit .317 and collected 161 hits, 10 home runs, 94 RBIs and scored 76 times to win the coveted trophy.

The Tombstone clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Sekien Endo will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2035 Ohl League Outstanding Pitcher Award.
Endo made 27 starts this year, winning 19 and losing 4. He threw 189.2 innings, fanned 247, allowed 135 hits and 44 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .195 average as he logged an impressive 2.89 ERA.
