SL Outstanding Hitter Award Goes to Meadows
Monday, October 20th, 2064
Not only has Tommy Meadows been named winner of the 2064 Stafford League Outstanding Hitter Award, he's done it at an age when many of his peers are still trying to establish themselves in Darrell Behm Historical Baseball Society.

"I feel fortunate to win this award at age 23," he said. "I feel like I still have my best years ahead of me. Hopefully I can put my name on this trophy a few more times."

The Norman Baits ace had a 18-6 record over 28 starts and 190.2 innings. He struck out 145, issued 60 walks and had an impressive 1.79 ERA.

Batters hit only .189 against him during the season.

Ron Sinclair of the Bloomington Frost Ferrets finished second in voting, while Ruben Verdugo of the Madison Muskies finished third.
