 | Monday, August 23rd, 2032: Week's Top Player: Las Vegas's Gill So far in his young career, Doug Gill has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Read League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Las Vegas Fates right fielder hit at a torrid .538 clip as he collected 7 hits in 13 at-bats, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. So far this year Gill is batting .538 with 1 home run. |
