Burlington shortstop Bryce Hasler put on quite a show at Knights Ballpark with a big 5-hit day in the 11-10 victory over the Sturgis Invaders. In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate...5-5...wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average...and my salary, too." B. Hasler hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off J. Quinney in the 9th. Looking at his season stats, Hasler has compiled a .317 batting average and a .386 on-base percentage, while hitting 9 home runs and driving in 39 runs. |
