For his excellent performance he has been named the league's top pitcher. During the month, Higginson was superb with a 2.66 ERA and 5 wins and 1 loss. In 44 innings he struck out 28 and gave up 25 hits and 19 walks. His record this year is 10-4 in 15 starts and Higginson has a 2.49 ERA. |
