 | Sunday, June 2nd, 2030: Chacon Puts Spell on Herndon In an outstanding outing, Francisco Chacon tamed Herndon on a 4-hit shutout. The Gateway hurler went the distance, finishing with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 4-0 win. "He had a lot of first pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to the Herndon manager. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today." This season Chacon has worked 63.1 innings with 63 strikeouts en route to a 2-4 record and a 3.84 ERA. |
