 | Friday, July 20th, 2029: Lei Gets 5 Hits It's not something you read in the sports pages everyday -- a 5-for-6 day. It may only come around once in a career -- a lot of players never have one -- but Ronald Lei got one today. He scattered hits all over Ballpark of Fox Valley to pace Fox Valley to a 14-5 victory over Nashville. The Nashville skipper told reporters in the press room, "Tip your hat to him. He hit some good pitches. According to the scouting report, Lei hit several that he is not supposed to hit." R. Lei singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off A. Rittenhouse in the 8th. Lei is currently hitting at a .285 pace with 3 home runs, 44 RBIs and has scored 42 times. |
