 | Monday, April 22nd, 2030: Hooray for Reck! Hammers 5 Hits! 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Burlington's Wade Reck had a very special day against the Ingersolls when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Burlington Knights to a 18-3 win at Knights Ballpark. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Reck said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." W. Reck singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off V. Barter in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off J. Green in the 8th. Thus far this year Reck is batting .444 with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 13 runs scored. |
