 | Saturday, August 3rd, 2030: 5-Hits Blitz by Fishers's Fleming! Who needs batting practice? Al Fleming of Fishers apparently doesn't as he battered Tri-Cities with a 5-hit outburst in today's game to lead his club to a 12-5 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 6 day... will my name be in the record books now?" A. Fleming hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. To date Fleming has chalked up a .290 average with 2 home runs, driven in 48 runs and scored 57 times. |
