 | Saturday, August 17th, 2030: Wiesner Reaches 2500 It was a banner day for Robert Wiesner, who collected his 2500th hit in the Richmond 7-3 win over Las Vegas. Wiesner went 2-4 in the game as both Confederates and Lightning fans cheered Wiesner, when he reached base after his historic hit. "It feels great to get #2500," Wiesner said afterward, "especially since we won the game." In his career Wiesner is batting .301 with a total of 173 home runs. |
