Tuesday, August 13th, 2030: Eddison Will Miss 2 Weeks
The Columbus Crows were dealt a serious blow when the team learned that Archie Eddison was likely to be out for 2 weeks after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Bantam Originals. A round of tests by the team doctors revealed the injury to be a strained bicep tendon. Upon learning of their diagnosis, the Columbus manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries--they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Archie is back in action."

Eddison has started 27 times this year, pitched 165.2 innings, fanned 105 batters and walked 69. His current record is 4 wins and 13 losses with a 5.38 ERA.
