 | Friday, August 9th, 2030: Hughes Batters Poughkeepsie Big Time! Players get multi-hit games all the time. But a 5-hit game only comes around once in a blue moon. It happened at Frank Rizzo Memorial Stadium when Darrell Hughes of Philadelphia scattered 5 hits all over the ballpark against the Poughkeepsie Paladins. He was down and a little subdued with mixed feelings in the postgame interview. "It was a good day for me, but not a good day for the Billyclubs. The bottom line in baseball is to win.
