 | Monday, July 1st, 2030: Utica and Philadelphia Agree to Swap The Utica Wombats have parted ways with 40-year old reliever Arturo Vannatta, sending him to the Philadelphia Billyclubs for 35-year old reliever Kousuke Jakuchu. The Wombats general manager confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. This year Vannatta has earned 2 saves, worked 54.2 innings, fanned 36 hitters and recorded a 6.26 ERA. He has also put up a 3-2 won-lost mark. So far this season, Jakuchu has a 1-3 won-lost record with 2 saves. He has made 30 relief appearances, logged 29.1 innings and fanned 22 batters while fashioning a 4.60 ERA and allowing the opposition a .265 batting average. |
