Front Office Baseball League News Article | | | Monday, June 3rd, 2030: Clifford Out for 1-2 Weeks It took the Bantam team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Bill Clifford won't simply play through a damaged meniscus after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Microbrewers-Originals game. At first, it looked like Clifford might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 1-2 weeks. A spokesman for the club described the loss of Clifford as a blow, but was confident that he'd be back soon.
In 13 starts this year Clifford has recorded a 5-4 record and a 2.93 ERA. | |
