Schroer 5-for-6 Against Montego Bay
Tuesday, September 30th, 2064
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Northampton's Dave Schroer made it happen today against the Red Stripe. Everything came together at the plate for the 29-year-old catcher as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Dykes to a 11-1 win at Bob Marley Memorial Field.

"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Schroer said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."

Dave Schroer singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Tom Harrison in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

For the year Schroer has hit .345 with 21 home runs, 101 RBIs and scored 70 runs.
