Duffy Spins Shutout Against Tumbleweeds
Friday, September 26th, 2064
Today was Ron Duffy's turn in the rotation for the Richmond Confederates and he made the most of it, shutting out the Wichita Tumbleweeds on 7 hits.

The 35-year-old right-hander led the Confederates to an easy 6-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 6 strikeouts.

"I hope we miss him next time," Wichita manager Simon Cable said. "Duffy certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."

Currently Duffy has a record of 13-11 with 109 strikeouts and 31 walks in 212.2 innings and a 3.85 ERA.
