Weaver Booms 400th Homer
Wednesday, September 10th, 2064
Capital City's outstanding first baseman Roman Weaver joined the 400 home run club today at Cracktown Field Park with a booming blast in the Metropolitans win over the Diamond Dogs. They topped Orono 7-4.

On his milestone day Weaver had 1 hit in 4 at-bats with 1 RBI and 1 run scored.

Tongue-in-cheek he told the press, "Don't tell me when I get close to the next milestone. Just tell me after I reach it. It will be easier to hit that way."

In his career Weaver has played in 2078 games with a .279 batting average. Among his 2214 hits are 488 doubles, 29 triples and 400 home runs. He also has scored 1307 runs and driven in 1386 runs.
