 | Wednesday, September 11th, 2030: Ronald Goodall Hits #400 The Santa Cruz Sea Lions defeated the Durham Dragons 11-9 yesterday in a game that featured Ronald Goodall's 400th career home run. In the clubhouse, the Sea Lions third baseman spoke about the milestone achievement. "To be honest, I don't even remember my first home run," he said. "But this one I don't think I'll forget. Who knows if I'll hit another hundred, or fifty, or even ten?" On his historic day, Goodall banged out 2 hits in 4 at-bats and scored 1 run with 3 runs batted in. For his career Goodall has hit at a .294 clip. Among his lifetime numbers are 2199 hits, 515 doubles, 30 triples, 400 home runs and 1462 RBIs. |
