 | Wednesday, September 11th, 2030: Miceli Slams 5 Hits for Indianapolis 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Indianapolis's David Miceli had a very special day against the Roadkill when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Indianapolis Ice Weasels to a 5-2 win at David Letterman Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Miceli said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." D. Miceli singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Miceli has collected 175 hits for the Ice Weasels this year, 27 of them home runs. He has also netted 99 RBIs and scored 81 runs while batting .296. |
