 | Friday, August 30th, 2030: Alligood Raps 300-th Roundtripper The Orono Bear Brewers defeated the Milwaukee Microbrewers 5-1 yesterday in a game that featured Sanford Alligood's 300th career home run. In the clubhouse, the Bear Brewers left fielder spoke about the milestone achievement. "To be honest, I don't even remember my first home run," he said. "But this one I don't think I'll forget. Who knows if I'll hit another hundred, or fifty, or even ten?" On his historic day, Alligood banged out 2 hits in 3 at-bats and scored 1 run with 2 runs batted in.
