In a high-scoring contest between Hollywood and Shreveport, first baseman Diego Fabregas was a difference-maker. Fabregas, who is tied for 2nd in the GL in runs scored with 126, earned player of the game honors in the 30-8 Hollywood win. He was 4-6 with 2 home runs, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 5 times and driving in 5. Hollywood reliever Wes Furst was credited with the win, to go to 5-1. Tommy Berry took the loss for Shreveport. The first-place Media Whores have won 4 consecutive games.

Fabregas had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Media Whores went on to win.
