The Northampton Dykes easily defeated the Montego Bay Red Stripe, 20-4, at Bob Marley Memorial Field, with catcher Dave Schroer a main contributor to the win. He went 3-5 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for Northampton. Enrique Quintana got the win, improving to 15-13. He held the Red Stripe to 4 earned runs on 6 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 13 and walking 2. The last-place Red Stripe have dropped 7 straight games.

With a runner on 1st and two out in the top of the first inning, left fielder William Milton delivered big for the Dykes. Northampton was leading 1-0 when he belted a 2-run home run.
